Privacy Policy

Who we are
PingRobot (pingrobot.io) is operated by Ayhan Selek, an individual based in Türkiye (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question, write to hello@pingrobot.io.
What we collect
- Account data: the email address you sign in with. We do not use passwords; we email you one-time sign-in links.
- Monitoring data: the URLs, host names, ports, keywords and settings of the monitors you create, and the results of the checks we run (status, response time, error reason).
- Alert contacts: the email addresses, Telegram chats and webhook, Slack or Discord URLs you add to receive alerts.
- Status pages: the titles, addresses, colors and monitor selections of the public status pages you publish.
- Billing data: if you upgrade, Creem processes your payment as merchant of record. We receive your subscription status, plan and renewal dates, not your full card details.
- Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in (plus a cookie that only says you're signed in), and standard request logs kept by our hosting provider.
Why we use it
To run the checks you ask for, send the alerts you configure, show your history and status pages, sign you in, process your subscription and keep the service secure. We process this data to provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract), to keep it secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interests), and, for analytics cookies only, with your consent. This applies under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and, for users in the EU and UK, the GDPR.
Cookies
We set two strictly necessary cookies: pr_session keeps you signed in, and pr_in (no personal data, just "signed in") lets our public pages show "Dashboard" instead of "Sign in". We do not use advertising cookies. On our public pages (not inside the app) we count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not track you across sites or build a profile of you. The sign-in page may show a Cloudflare Turnstile check to block automated sign-ups.
Service providers
We rely on these providers to run PingRobot:
- Cloudflare: hosting, database, bot protection, the network that runs the checks, and cookieless page view counts on our public pages (Web Analytics).
- Cloudflare Email Service: sending sign-in and alert emails.
- Telegram, Slack and Discord: delivering alerts, only if you connect them.
- Creem: payments, as merchant of record.
These providers may process data outside Türkiye, including in the European Union and the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Detailed check results are kept for a limited period and summarized into daily figures; how much history you can see depends on your plan. Account data is kept while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account, monitors, contacts and status pages within 30 days; residual copies in our hosting provider’s backups expire within a further 30 days. Records that Creem must keep for tax purposes are kept by Creem under its own policy.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete your account by writing to hello@pingrobot.io. Depending on where you live, you may also object to or restrict processing, ask for your data in a portable format, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to a data protection authority — in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK); in the EU or UK, your local supervisory authority.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect.
